I am a photographer based in the Highlands of Scotland.
Originally drawn to photographing the beautiful and sometimes bleak landscapes of Scotland, I have since fused my love of travel into my photography. I shoot a range of subjects from nature and scenery to brutalist architecture and cityscapes.
Specialising in black and white photography, much of my work incorporates the use of deep contrasts and harsh lighting to capture scenes with gloomy and oppressive atmosphere.
My preferred method of photography is B&W analogue. I shoot, develop and enlarge my own film in a darkroom using traditional methods. I also shoot on full frame digital. My current equipment is bodies and lenses consisting of Leica, Zeiss, Voigtländer and Rollei.
For prints, commissions, collaborations or other enquiries, send me a message. I read everything and try to reply within a few days. Details are in the Contacts section below.
